VOLUNTEER DAY
Sign up to volunteer at the ECAC Saturday August 31st between 10 and 5pm. We will be working on indoor and outdoor projects to spruce up the center for upcoming activities. You can register by emailing sylvia@ecacollective.org or call (202) 462-2285. If you have carpentry, drywall repair or masonry skills and can donate time for small projects at any time, please contact us. Those who volunteer on August 31st will receive an ECAC Service Coupon for each hour worked, which can be credited towards the Benefit Party and Showcase.

ECAC BIRTHDAY BASH & PLEDGE PARTY
Celebrate the best of ECAC Sunday September 1st from 3-11with a gathering of fun and entertainment - plus a special birthday celebration for Luci Murphy . Our lineup will feature:

Capoeira Angola - an African-Brazilian martial art that involves dance, music, singing and acrobatics

The DC Dynasty Cheer All Stars - girls ranging in ages from 7 – 18, cheering, tumbling, working together as one

Christylez Bacon - GRAMMY Nominated Progressive Hip-Hop artist and multi-instrumentalist from Southeast, DC

A special performance by Luci Murphy and Friends. Luci is a D.C. native who has been singing songs of liberation and freedom over the last 50 years in English, Spanish, French, Creole, Portuguese, Zulu, Arabic, Hebrew, Swedish, Cherokee, and ki-Swahili.
Your entry fee will be a completed pledge card, indicating the amount you will pledge to the Building Campaign. Donations can be made with cash or check or on the website.
